How to get there

To get to Julia’s Camp Mara in the Masai Mara by road, from Nairobi, which is approximately 250 km (155 miles) away. The road trip typically takes around 5 to 6 hours depending on road conditions and traffic. You’ll take the Nairobi-Narok Road through the scenic Great Rift Valley, passing through Narok town, which is a convenient stop for refreshments and supplies. From Narok, you’ll continue on the road toward the Masai Mara, with the last stretch being on a rough, dirt road leading to the camp. A 4×4 vehicle is highly recommended due to the rugged terrain, especially during the rainy season. you can reach Julia’s Camp Mara by flight, which is faster and more comfortable. Several domestic airlines such as Safarilink, AirKenya, and Fly540 operate daily flights from Wilson Airport in Nairobi to airstrips in the Masai Mara, such as Ol Kiombo, Keekorok, and Musiara. The flight takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
